At Calidris, she developed and implemented the organization’s communications strategy, contributed to site-based conservation projects, and created materials and activities to foster community engagement. She co-authored Colombia’s First National Shorebird Conservation Plan and played a key role in the designation of the WHSRN site Delta del río Iscuandé.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Communications and has expanded her expertise through training in developing, implementing, and promoting community-based projects.
Vianey is also passionate about creativity and nature. In her spare time, she designs jewelry and accessories and creates fabric prints inspired by shorebirds and ecosystems, combining her artistic vision with her love for conservation.
