Real Story of One Sandpiper

We have a REAL 11,000 mile #SESAstory for you! T971 is a Semipalmated Sandpiper who traveled from Coats Island in the Arctic to northern Brazil and back again, all with a geolocator to track his path. And of course, that journey included a stop on the Delaware Bay.

So many partners make sure that there is a habitat ready for T971 at each stop, including New Jersey Audubon and Conserve Wildlife Foundation of NJ who are featured in this story. Click to scroll through the ESRI story map!
