Shorebird Festivals

Festival Resources

Shorebird festivals have become local icons across the Hemisphere, celebrating migratory birds and a commitment to protect their habitat.

They are inspiring conservation action and creating communities that are proud to welcome flocks of shorebirds during their grand migrations. They are also a popular tourist attraction, connecting local and international visitors to the cultural values, local and traditional ways of life, science, and conservation that we share when we celebrate shorebirds.
