Sin embargo, algunos aspectos de la conectividad migratoria de la subespecie no se entienden del todo bien, en particular en lo que respecta a las zonas de reproducci\u00f3n. A fin de atender la escasez de informaci\u00f3n sobre la distribuci\u00f3n del h\u00e1bitat de reproducci\u00f3n, la CCA apoy\u00f3 una iniciativa que consisti\u00f3 en colocar transmisores satelitales en ejemplares de PC en el estuario Grays Harbor para rastrear su viaje migratorio hacia el norte desde la costa de Washington. Cada uno de los miembros de los equipos ten\u00eda responsabilidades espec\u00edficas que iban desde investigar otras \u00e1reas de movimientos de PC hasta instalar las jaulas de confinamiento. Asimismo, los tres participantes apoyados por la CCA fueron responsables de tareas como el registro de mediciones de aves, la colocaci\u00f3n de banderas en las patas de ejemplares estudiados y la liberaci\u00f3n de aves en las que se hab\u00edan instalado transmisores. En los pr\u00f3ximos meses, podr\u00e1n conocerse nuevos aspectos de la migraci\u00f3n del PC a partir de los datos de rastreo.<\/p>\n<p>Los participantes auspiciados por la CCA ampliaron su experiencia y mejoraron sus habilidades al haber sido parte del equipo de anillamiento y haber podido observar y estudiar a los playeros canuto. Este intercambio entre sitios contribuy\u00f3, adem\u00e1s, a fortalecer la naciente Red del Corredor Migratorio del Pac\u00edfico de Am\u00e9rica del Norte (<em>North American Pacific Flyway Network<\/em>), al permitir forjar relaciones con miembros del sitio visitado y luego compartir las experiencias adquiridas con las comunidades locales, al regresar a casa los participantes.[\/vc_column_text][mk_padding_divider size=&#8221;10&#8243;][mk_fancy_title tag_name=&#8221;h3&#8243;
