Las perturbaciones debidas a las muy intensas actividades recreativas de verano que tienen lugar en la bah\u00eda de Fundy representan riesgos graves para las aves playeras puesto que durante su reposo en el lugar \u00e9stas disponen s\u00f3lo de un corto periodo para obtener las reservas de energ\u00eda que les permitir\u00e1n completar su larga migraci\u00f3n.
